About Hookora

Hookora's roots trace back to my mathematics degree and my first encounter with Jane Street puzzles.

I tackled my first one with William - these puzzles are challenging, time-consuming, and deeply satisfying when solved.

The "Hooks" puzzle struck the perfect balance: easy to understand yet challenging to solve. That experience inspired me to create Hookora.

I've always loved sharing puzzles with friends and family. The "Hooks" puzzle consistently got the best reactions - it reminded people of Sudoku but with a unique twist.

That's why I built Hookora. I took the core concept, added multiple difficulty levels, and created something both accessible to newcomers and challenging for experienced solvers.
